Rommel is a highly experienced Senior Sonographer with over 30 years of expertise in paediatric ultrasound. He has worked at one of Sydney's leading tertiary children's hospitals, where he developed extensive expertise in specialist paediatric imaging.
Throughout his hospital career, Rommel has worked closely with specialist physicians and surgeons across Gastroenterology, Urology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, and both Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care Units. He has played an important role in developing ultrasound examination protocols and maintaining the highest standards of imaging practice across these specialties.
With a wealth of experience performing ultrasound examinations on patients ranging from newborns and infants through to adolescents and adults, Rommel has a particular interest in paediatric and bowel ultrasound, providing accurate, high-quality imaging to support timely diagnosis and patient care.
Rommel is passionate about providing the highest standard of patient care and is committed to producing accurate, high-quality ultrasound examinations. He shares the vision of Pixmed Specialist Ultrasound and ImageKids in delivering expert paediatric ultrasound and bowel ultrasound services within the community, ensuring every patient receives compassionate, specialised care.
Rommel is accredited with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
